Chapter 11 · Field kit
8-week plan
How to use this The follower column is weather. The pass/fail column is law. If you fail a week, repeat it. Do not skip ahead because the badge moved.
Eight weeks at 45–60 minutes is the default. If you have 2–3 hours, compress weeks 1–4 into two. If you miss five days, do not catch up with 80 empty replies. Restart the week.
| Wk | Weather | Pass / fail (law) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0–40 | Fail if fewer than 8 authors reply back |
| 2 | 40–90 | Fail if profile visits are unreadable |
| 3 | 90–160 | Name 10 repeat humans or repeat the week |
| 4 | 160–250 | Say which job produced follows |
| 5 | 250–380 | If under 220, replies are the bottleneck |
| 6 | 380–550 | One peer conversation visible in public |
| 7 | 550–780 | Ride one live wave with an add, or log why you skipped |
| 8 | 780–1,000 | Do not invent a new format. Count unprompted repliers. |
Week 1 in detail
Chapter 3 first, then Chapter 4. No manifesto. Friday’s scoreboard can be “I wrote the list and shipped 12 standalone replies.” That is a legal scoreboard.
If you stall
- Check Column A. Dead rooms cannot be optimized.
- Re-read three replies out loud. Cheerleading is obvious when spoken.
- Re-run the five-second profile test.
- Repeat the failed week. Do not add a new tool.
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Reach up, follows flat | Profile or pin is not converting | Rewrite the pin and bio line. Make the last six posts look like the pin. |
| Follows fine, reach dead | Same few people every day | Add ten new peers and five new borrow-reach accounts. |
| Neither moves | Replies too generic | Cut volume, raise quality, re-read the standalone test. |
| Missed the week by 30% or more | Not a posting problem | Audit replies: wrong accounts, too slow, or too vague. Do not just post more. |
| Stuck at 850 to 950 | Normal plateau | Do not panic-post. Run one more cycle of the same plan. |
If you hit 1,000 and only four people talk, you passed the weather and failed the law. Keep going on Gravity until 15–20 names are real.
Drill · 20 minutes
Copy the 8-week table into the X log. Circle the week you are actually in. Write the pass/fail line on a sticky note. That line is the only KPI until Sunday.
