Chapter 7 · Weeks 3–6

100–500: get remembered

You can leave this rung when you can name 15 repeat humans and one weekly format you have not abandoned.

The job changes. You are no longer trying to exist. You are trying to be the person a small room files under a sentence. “The distribution guy.” “The one who posts the Friday numbers.” If they cannot finish that sentence, you are still on rung one with extra followers.

Keep the reply block

This is where people get bored and “go back to content.” Content without the block is how 300-follower accounts stall at 320. Add 4–6 originals. Do not subtract replies to make room for a thread.

Protect the scoreboard

Same day each week. Same three numbers. Ugly is useful. Miss two Fridays and you reset the journey.

Topic drift is the fail mode

A politics post, a dating post, a dunk on a celebrity, each one invites a room that will not help the next explainer. Park off-niche thoughts for 90 days.

By week 5 you want one visible back-and-forth with a Column A name that other people can watch. You earn it by being useful three weeks in a row.

Drill · 20 minutes

List 15 people who have spoken to you twice. If you cannot get to 15, you have a Column A problem, not a format problem. Then write next Friday’s scoreboard with blanks for the numbers.
